Eat nutritious foods

Everyone at some point in their lives has used food as a coping mechanism.

We stress eat when we feel anger, sadness, boredom or uncertainty. During times like this, we can find ourselves overeating, forgetting to eat, or eating too many of the ‘comfort foods’. All of this sadly compromises our immune systems – which are already taking a bashing from our stress levels.

So eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, healthy protein sources, healthy fats, avoid drug and alcohol intake, and drink plenty of water throughout the day.
